India: The Much-Delayed CPI Series The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation has finally released the new Consumer Price Index (CPI) on 12 February 2026, updating the base year from 2012 to 2024=100. The new CPI is pegged to consumption patterns from the household consumption expenditure survey 2023-24.
